Public Meetings

The project team will host three public meetings throughout the course of the Phase I study. We anticipate the first public meeting to take place in summer 2022. Make sure to subscribe to our newsletter to receive up to date information on the project and events.

Community Advisory Group

A Community Advisory Group (CAG) will be formed which is comprised of civic organizations, residential groups, business organizations, neighborhood groups, and other stakeholders. The purpose of the CAG is to represent the community and facilitate the discussion of issues and opportunities from their constituents to guide the project throughout its development. The CAG will meet several times over the course of the study.

This includes but is not limited to the following groups:

10th Ward, City of Chicago
Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT)
Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD)
Chicago Department of Water Management (CDWM)
Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA)
Burnham Woods Golf Course
Forest Preserves of Cook County
Hegewisch Business Association
South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association (SSMMA)
Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP)
Burnham Elementary School
